Funerals and places of worship are subject to the one person per four square metre rule and a COVID-Safe business registration. All attendees (excluding those from the same household), are required to adhere to the 4 sq. metre rule.
To comply with this amendment, The Palmdale Group advises: Funeral and Memorial Services held in our chapels will have the following numbers allowable due to 4 sq metre rule. Social distancing is still to be strictly adhered to with facemasks required.
Our current chapel capacities are as follows to comply with social distancing:
St Patricks of Nulkaba Chapel – 10 mourners seated (staff and officiants excluded in this number). Attendees must wear facemasks.
In accordance with the framework, a record must be kept of all attendees names and contact details for each funeral gathering still applies.
Please note that Weddings have separate restrictions than the above and we recommend checking NSW Health website for more information.
